Denny Dubblestyne was superb between the pipes for the Cornwall Colts, as he did not allow a goal in a 3-0 victory over the Hawkesbury Hawks.

After the loss made the series score 3-2 in the best of seven series, Hawkesbury faces elimination next time out.

Cornwall was led by Tristen Elie, who finished with one goal. Elie scored 4:57 into the third period to make the score 1-0 Cornwall. Grant Cooper picked up the assist.

The Colts stifled the Hawks' power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man.

Others who scored for Cornwall included Marly Quince and Ryan Patulli, who each put in one. In addition, Cornwall received assists from Jay DAmour, Matthew Morin, and Zac Tierney, who contributed one each.

Dubblestyne rejected 29 shots on goal for Cornwall. The Colts incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors. Gunner Rivers recorded 22 saves for Hawkesbury. The Hawks incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
