M2 William Paterson University falls to M2 Lindenwood University in overtime, 5-4 (OT)

Tobias Dahlstrom gave M2 Lindenwood University a 5-4 (OT) victory over M2 William Paterson University when he scored 3:30 into the extra period.

Although M2 Lindenwood University was up by as many as three goals in the second period, M2 William Paterson University kept the game interesting by staging a comeback that ultimately fell short. M2 William Paterson University pulled to within 4-3 on a goal by James Karp at 4:11 in the third period.

Brenden Church was all over the ice for M2 Lindenwood University, as he tallied one goal and two assists in the win. Church scored 11:50 into the first period to make the score 3-1 M2 Lindenwood University. Kyle Vesling picked up the assist.

M2 Lindenwood University forced M2 William Paterson University's goalies to work without much rest, getting 35 shots and forcing 30 saves. Gary Schoeppler made 25 stops and Jordan Hulahan made five.

M2 Lindenwood University also got points from John Mulligan, who also registered one goal and two assists. M2 Lindenwood University also had goals scored by Taylor Wolfe and David Scott, who each put in one. Other players who recorded assists for M2 Lindenwood University were Cameron Rossman and Christoffer Roos, who each chipped in one.

M2 William Paterson University put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow M2 Lindenwood University to score on any of its four power plays.

Mark Apidopoulos also scored for M2 William Paterson University. In addition, M2 William Paterson University received assists from Kyle Garlasco, who had two and Cory Sala, Ryan Ertmann, Anthony Carbone, and Robert Peacock, who contributed one each.

Tim Craig made 15 saves for M2 Lindenwood University on 19 shots. M2 Lindenwood University incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. M2 William Paterson University incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors.
