The Exeter Hawks' Tyler Coleman had a big offensive game, scoring four goals and contributing one assist in his team's 7-0 win over the Dorchester Dolphins. Coleman got on the scoresheet 1:40 into the second period. He then added goals at 1:48 into the third, at 2:29 into the third, and at 9:24 into the third.The win gave Exeter a 2-0 lead in the best of seven series. The Hawks were boosted by James Morreau, who turned in a shutout with 28 saves. The solid play of Morreau will be reflected in his goals against average, which pre-game was 2.96. Exeter forced Dolphins' goaltenders to work in net, launching 31 shots and forcing 24 saves. Kent Taylor made 15 stops and Mike Lindner made nine. The Hawks excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in 12 chances. Exeter also got points from Max Naus, who also grabbed one goal and three assists. Others who scored for Exeter included Tyler Kettler and Christopher Pfaff, who each put in one. Other players who recorded assists for Exeter were Austin Carter, who had two and Matt Clarke and Chase Thornton, who each chipped in one. Exeter incurred 48 minutes in penalty time with nine minors. The Hawks ran into serious disciplinary problems during the contest, and Dylan Wilson-Foote was ejected from the game. Dorchester incurred 54 minutes in penalty time with 12 minors. Team's Mike Worby, Liam Gillooly, and Tyler Kerr were slapped with misconducts and ejected from the game.
