Erik Svensson netted a hat trick to lead Dallas Snipers over Wichita Jr. Thunder, 7-3.

The win by Dallas Snipers clinched the best of three series at 2-0.

Dallas Snipers put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Wichita Jr. Thunder to score on any of its four power plays. Dallas Snipers forced Wichita Jr. Thunder goalie Matej Varchola to work between the pipes, taking 47 shots.

Dallas Snipers also got points from Justin Becton, who also finished with one goal and two assists and Carl Sandsten, who also tallied one goal and two assists. Dallas Snipers also had goals scored by Alexander Yunanov and Sterling Cooper, who scored one goal each. More assists for Dallas Snipers came via Trent Williams, who had two and Mike Misantonis, Jean Cobo, Pavol Kotzman, and Dusan Olsa, who contributed one each.

Wichita Jr. Thunder was led by Ivan Brvenik, who registered one goal and one assist. Brvenik scored 6:48 into the first period to make the score 1-1. Joel Gellvear assisted on the tally. Others who scored for Wichita Jr. Thunder included Patrik Janac and Jet Bell, who each put in one.

Dallas Snipers' Sander Berg stopped 23 shots out of the 26 that he faced. Dallas Snipers incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. Varchola rejected 40 shots on goal for Wichita Jr. Thunder. Wichita Jr. Thunder incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
