Erik Svensson netted a hat trick to lead Dallas Snipers over Wichita Jr. Thunder, 7-3. Svensson got on the scoresheet 2:20 into the first period. He then added goals at 5:48 into the second and at 9:00 into the third.The win by Dallas Snipers clinched the best of three series at 2-0. Dallas Snipers put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Wichita Jr. Thunder to score on any of its four power plays. Dallas Snipers forced Wichita Jr. Thunder goalie Matej Varchola to work between the pipes, taking 47 shots. Dallas Snipers also got points from Justin Becton, who also finished with one goal and two assists and Carl Sandsten, who also tallied one goal and two assists. Dallas Snipers also had goals scored by Alexander Yunanov and Sterling Cooper, who scored one goal each. More assists for Dallas Snipers came via Trent Williams, who had two and Mike Misantonis, Jean Cobo, Pavol Kotzman, and Dusan Olsa, who contributed one each.
