Port Hope blows out Napanee, 4-0

The Port Hope Panthers were firing on all cylinders against the Napanee Raiders, and when the final buzzer sounded Panthers emerged with a 4-0 win.

The win by Port Hope clinched the best of seven series at 4-0.

The Panthers were led by Dylan Baxter, who grabbed one goal. Baxter scored on the power play 5:37 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Port Hope. Port Hope earned a power play opportunity when Michael Parr was put in the box for holding. Nathan Snoek picked up the assist.

The Panthers excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in five chances.

Rory Milne also scored for Port Hope. Other players who recorded assists for Port Hope were Cameron McGill, who had two and Jacob Spicer and Dan Lagrois, who each chipped in one.

Devan Tremblay made 18 saves for Port Hope on 18 shots. The Panthers incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors. Cameron Parr rejected 21 shots on goal for Napanee. The Raiders incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors.
