The Toledo Cherokee could not hold down the Pittsburgh Vengeance, and Vengeance erased a two-goal deficit en route to a 3-2 win. Pittsburgh never led in the game until netting the game winner. The Vengeance was down 2-0 after a goal by Toledo's Brody Duncan at 13:29 in the first period. Pittsburgh tied things up at 2-2 on a goal by Michael Straub at 6:57 in the third period. The Vengeance got the game winner at 17:32 in the third period on a goal by Straub. The win by Pittsburgh clinched the best of three series at 2-0. The Vengeance were sparked by Parker Henry, who registered one goal and one assist. Pittsburgh also got points from Eli Lynn, who also racked up one goal and one assist and Straub, who also had one goal and one assist. In addition, Pittsburgh received assists from Adem Arifi, who had two. The Cherokee were helped by Kyle Downey, who tallied one goal. Downey scored 5:54 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Toledo. Cam Schwartz picked up the assist.
