Stueve's big game bests Northern Michigan University in 6-4 West Chester University win

West Chester University's Miranda Stueve had a big offensive game, scoring two goals and contributing three assists in his team's 6-4 win over Northern Michigan University.

Stueve found the back of the net 7:17 into the first period to make the score 1-1 and again while 19:30 into the second to make the score 5-2 West Chester University.

The defensemen of West Chester University were also effective in Northern Michigan University's zone, and came away with four goals.

West Chester University also got points from Kirsten Baron, who also had two goals and two assists. Others who scored for West Chester University included Emelia Bebee and Danielle Speroff, who scored one goal each.

Northern Michigan University was helped by Sierra Rusinek, who finished with two goals. Rusinek scored the first of his two goals at eight seconds into the first period to make the score 1-0 Northern Michigan University. Ciara Kangas provided the assist. Rusinek's next tally made the score 2-2 with 15:52 left in the second period. Northern Michigan University had gained a power play chance when Baron was whistled for tripping.
