M1 Iowa State University hangs on, beats M1 Oklahoma / University of 3-1

Andrew Carlson gave the M1 Iowa State University Cyclones the lead in the first period, and the M1 Oklahoma / University of Sooners was never able to catch up in a close game that ended 3-1.

M1 Iowa State University took over the lead for good with a goal by Carlson at 15:14 in the first period. Alex Grupe provided the assist.

Joey Deluca had a great game for the Cyclones, netting two goals. Deluca's tallies came at 1:24 into the second period to make the score 2-0 M1 Iowa State University and 19:13 into the third to make the score 3-1 M1 Iowa State University.
