The Chatham Maroons survived a determined comeback attempt by the London Nationals on the way to a 5-4 win. Chatham made the score 4-1 on a goal by Brennan Feasey at 4:04 in the third period, and London got as close as 4-3 when Derek Todosichuk scored 5:50 into the third period. With the win, the Maroons avoided elimination to make the series score 3-1 in the best of seven series. Chatham's penalty kill excelled, as the Maroons gave up one goal despite allowing six power plays. The Nationals were unable to stop Chatham from sending pucks towards the net, and the Maroons eventually piled up 49 shots on goal. Chatham was helped by Steven Beenackers, who had one goal and one assist. Beenackers scored 9:08 into the third period to make the score 5-4 Chatham. Mark Fratarcangelli picked up the assist. Chatham additionally got points from Teddy McGeen, who also tallied one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Chatham also had goals scored by Jared Dennis and Levi Tetrault, who scored one goal each. More assists for Chatham came via Nate Pietens, Steven Szekesy, and Brett Storr, who each chipped in one. London kept the Maroons' goalie busy throughout the game, and Bo Bessette made 43 saves on 47 shots. Chatham totaled 21 minutes in penalty time with eight minors and one major and went 0-for-1 on the power play. For the Maroons, Brayden Hopkins was ejected from the game. Justin Tugwell made 44 saves for the Nationals on 49 shots. London ended with 11 minutes in penalty time with three minors and one major. The Nationals ran into serious disciplinary problems during the contest, and Michael Woolley was ejected from the game.
