The Buffalo Jr. Sabres tried their best to erase a three-goal deficit, but the Georgetown Raiders would not be denied the victory and hung on to win, 4-2. A goal by Brendan Jacome put Georgetown up 4-1 in the third period, but Buffalo pulled to within two on Christopher Berger's tally 12:48 into the third period. With the win, the Raiders evened the series at 2-2 in the best of seven showdown. Georgetown's penalty kill excelled, as the Raiders gave up one goal despite allowing seven power plays. The Jr. Sabres were unable to stop Georgetown from sending pucks towards the net, and the Raiders eventually piled up 31 shots on goal. Georgetown was led by Scott Emerson, who had one goal and one assist. Emerson scored 3:11 into the third period to make the score 3-1 Georgetown. Richard Court picked up the assist. Georgetown also got points from Court, who also racked up one goal and one assist and Jacome, who also registered one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Georgetown also got a goal from Kyle Allan as well. In addition, Georgetown received assists from Gavin Shantz and Eric Eustace, who each chipped in one. Buffalo excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in three chances. The Jr. Sabres' offense rang up 32 shots on the Raiders' net. Buffalo was helped by Justin Cmunt, who finished with one goal. Cmunt scored on the power play 9:03 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Buffalo. The Jr. Sabres had gotten the advantage when Georgetown's Emerson was sent off for delay of game. Zach Evancho assisted on the tally. More assists for Buffalo came via Wilson Vershay and Brenden Dunning, who contributed one each. Jack LaFontaine made 30 saves for the Raiders on 32 shots. Georgetown ended with 27 minutes in penalty time with six minors and one major. The Raiders ran into serious disciplinary problems during the contest, and Francois Cote was ejected from the game. Alex Connal recorded 27 saves for Buffalo. The Jr. Sabres ended with 13 minutes in penalty time with four minors and one major. For Buffalo, Max McCutcheon was ejected from the game.
