Sydney Sirens boosted by Jefferies' play in net, beats Adelaide Adrenaline 2-1

Michala Jefferies had a standout game with 25 saves, and Sydney Sirens beat Adelaide Adrenaline 2-1.

Sydney Sirens' penalty kill excelled, as Sydney Sirens gave up zero goals despite allowing six power plays.

Sydney Sirens was led by Stephanie Cochrane, who had one goal. Cochrane scored 16:59 into the third period to make the score 2-1 Sydney Sirens. Sharnita Crompton picked up the assist.

Sydney Sirens stifled Adelaide Adrenaline's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Sydney Sirens' offense was clicking better than usual and put 32 shots on goal during the game, better than the 2.9 shots per game it averages.

Sandra Giustiniani also scored for Sydney Sirens. Other players who recorded assists for Sydney Sirens were Kath McOnie, who had one.
