Jersey Shore downs New Hampshire in overtime, 3-2 (OT)

Adam Skutchan gave Jersey Shore a 3-2 (OT) victory over New Hampshire when he scored 2:17 into the extra period.

The win by Jersey Shore clinched the best of three series at 2-1.

Jersey Shore was paced by Skutchan, who grabbed one goal and one assist.

Jersey Shore forced New Hampshire goalie Claes Endre to work between the pipes, taking 36 shots.

Jersey Shore also had goals scored by Ilya Spektor and Kevin Gruber, who scored one goal each. More assists for Jersey Shore came via Alexander Tan, Alexandre Racicot, and Frederic Ampleman, who contributed one each.

New Hampshire's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on six Jersey Shore power plays. Jersey Shore was unable to stop New Hampshire from sending pucks towards the net, and New Hampshire eventually piled up 31 shots on goal.

New Hampshire was helped by Brett Bittner, who racked up one goal. Bittner scored on the power play 9:27 into the third period to make the score 2-2. New Hampshire had taken the advantage when Jersey Shore's Gruber got sent off for elbowing. Alex Peddle picked up the assist. New Hampshire also got points from Peddle, who also had one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Other players who recorded assists for New Hampshire were Frederic Pugin and Mike Callaghan, who each chipped in one.

Tyger Howat rejected 29 shots on goal for Jersey Shore. Jersey Shore incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. Claes Endre made 33 saves for New Hampshire on 36 shots. New Hampshire incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors.
