Wilkes-Barre could not stop Lockport's Mark Friol, who tallied a hat trick in a 6-2 win.

Friol's first goal came 3:33 into the second period. He then added goals at 18:04 into the second and at 9:36 into the third.

After the loss made the series score 1-0 in the best of three series, Wilkes-Barre faces elimination next time out.

Lockport's penalty kill excelled, as Lockport gave up zero goals despite allowing nine power plays.

Lockport stifled Wilkes-Barre's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Lockport forced Wilkes-Barre goalie Nolan Bivolcic to work between the pipes, taking 37 shots.

Lockport also got points from Nicholas Siracuse, who also grabbed one goal and one assist. Lockport also had goals scored by Frank II Vecchio and Christopher Gasiewicz, who each put in one. More assists for Lockport came via Dillon Hayes, who had two, Jordan Pocobello, who had three, and Jacob Burford, Justin Durkee, Daniel Golba, Christian Whitcomb, and Ryan Logar, who each chipped in one.

Wilkes-Barre's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on eight Lockport power plays. Wilkes-Barre's offense rang up 57 shots on Lockport's net.

Wilkes-Barre was helped by Daniel Leisser, who had one goal and one assist. Leisser scored 6:35 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Wilkes-Barre. Guillaume St. Germain picked up the assist. Wilkes-Barre additionally got points from St. Germain, who also racked up one goal and one assist.
