St. Andrews College blows out Appleby College, 5-0

The St. Andrews College Saints were firing on all cylinders against the Appleby College Blue Dogs, and when the final buzzer sounded Saints emerged with a 5-0 win.

St. Andrews College was paced by Jacob Miller, who finished with one goal and one assist. Miller scored 10:49 into the first period to make the score 1-0 St. Andrews College. Emil Hiiri assisted on the tally.

The Saints forced Appleby College goalie Avery Gobbo to work between the pipes, taking 49 shots.

St. Andrews College also got points from Hiiri, who also grabbed one goal and two assists to lead the team in points. Others who scored for St. Andrews College included Justin Fregona, Quentin Campbell, and Alex MacDonald, who scored one goal each. More assists for St. Andrews College came via Otto Saarimaa, who had two and Calvin Walker, Adam Sinclair, Reid Yochim, Austin Cho, and Mac Lewis, who contributed one each.

Matthew Galajda made 18 saves for St. Andrews College on 18 shots. The Saints incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. The Blue Dogs' Gobbo stopped 44 shots out of the 49 that he faced. Appleby College incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
