Anthony Pullia finished with one point to lead the Ayr Centennials to a 5-2 victory over the Paris Mounties. The win gave Ayr a 1-0 lead in the best of seven series. The Centennials were sparked by Pullia, who tallied one goal. Pullia scored 17:36 into the second period to make the score 3-1 Ayr. Carver Ormiston provided the assist. Ayr's offense rang up 43 shots on Paris' net. Ayr additionally got points from Mackenzie Kemp, who also had one goal and one assist and Quinn Diamond, who also grabbed one goal and one assist. Ayr also had goals scored by Jackson White and Riley Clipper, who scored one goal each. More assists for Ayr came via Connor MacLean, who had two and Austin Kovrig, Andrew Richard, and Brendan Schaefer, who each chipped in one. The Mounties were helped by Brett Wilson, who racked up two goals. Wilson scored the first of his two goals on the power play at 16:59 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Ayr. Other players who recorded assists for Paris were Andrew Heibein, who had one. Will Rawski made 27 saves for Ayr on 29 shots. The Centennials incurred 20 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Davis McLean rejected 38 shots on goal for the Mounties. Paris incurred 24 minutes in penalty time with seven minors. The Mounties ran into serious disciplinary problems during the contest, and Brady Wheelans was ejected from the game.
