The Orillia Terriers pulled out a 3-2 (OT) overtime victory over the Alliston Hornets on a clutch goal by Ryan Tucci.

With the win, Orillia avoided elimination to make the series score 3-1 in the best of seven series.

The Terriers got the win thanks to a great game by Tucci, who had one goal and two assists. Tucci scored 15:09 into to make the score 3-2 Orillia.

Alliston's power play was ineffective against Orillia's penalty kill, which allowed one goal while shorthanded.

The Terriers forced the Hornets' netminders to work hard to keep the puck out of the net, taking 41 shots and forcing 38 saves. Tyler Brindle made 32 stops and TJ Sherwood made six.

Orillia additionally got points from Mathew White, who also had one goal and one assist. Jason Binnie also scored for Orillia.

Alliston kept Orillia's goalie busy throughout the game, and Gordie Weiss made 75 saves on 77 shots.

The Hornets were helped by Matt Hamilton, who finished with one goal. Hamilton scored 15:37 into the second period to make the score 2-2. Mitch Livingston picked up the assist. Alliston also got a goal from Payton Dunlop as well. In addition, Alliston received assists from Connor Annett, who had one.

The Terriers incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors. Alliston incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors.
