Napanee rolls over Campbellford, 4-1

The Napanee Raiders had a two-goal lead after two periods and cruised the rest of the way en route to a 4-1 win over the Campbellford Rebels.

The win by Napanee clinched the best of seven series at 4-1.

The Raiders were led by goalie Tomo Mikuljan, who finished with 40 saves while allowing one goal. Mikuljan certainly lowered his goals against average, which was 1.73 entering the contest.

Napanee was sparked by Zack Revell, who finished with one goal. Revell scored 15:37 into the first period to make the score 2-0 Napanee. Brodie Butt assisted on the tally.

The Raiders' offense rang up 51 shots on Campbellford's net.

Others who scored for Napanee included Brandon Nadeau, Troy Wylie, and Josh Murphy, who each put in one. Other players who recorded assists for Napanee were Austin Boulard, who had two and Keenan Murray, Riley Steeves, and Zach Knapp-Hermer, who each chipped in one.

The Rebels' penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on four Napanee power plays. Napanee was unable to stop Campbellford from sending pucks towards the net, and the Rebels eventually piled up 41 shots on goal.

Campbellford was led by William Lameroux, who scored the team's only goal. Lameroux scored 19:18 into the second period to make the score 3-1 Napanee.

The Raiders incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. Cole Mahoney made 47 saves for the Rebels on 50 shots. Campbellford incurred 20 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
