The Picton Pirates had trouble finding ways to stop the Port Hope Panthers, which beat Pirates, 6-1. The win by Port Hope clinched the best of seven series at 4-1. Picton was stymied by the Panthers' netminder Devan Tremblay, who stopped 26 shots during the victory. Tremblay managed to improve on his goals against average, which stood at 2.73 prior to the game. Port Hope's penalty kill excelled, as the Panthers gave up zero goals despite allowing seven power plays. Port Hope stifled the Pirates' power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. The Panthers forced Picton goalie Nick Kazmierczak to work between the pipes, taking 41 shots.
