Cameron Lowery scored the go-ahead goal in the first period, and the Port Hope Panthers held off the challenges of the Picton Pirates in a tough 3-1 win. Lowery provided Port Hope with the game-winning tally when he scored 15:11 into the first period. Liam Rowe assisted on the tally.The win gave the Panthers a 2-0 lead in the best of seven series. Port Hope was led by Lowery, who racked up one goal. Port Hope additionally got points from Tyler Davey, who also grabbed one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Port Hope also got a goal from Dalton Lawrence as well. More assists for Port Hope came via Mike Smith, who had one. Picton was led by Brian Bunnett, who scored the team's only goal. Bunnett scored 4:05 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Picton. Taylor Brown picked up the assist. Devan Tremblay rejected 21 shots on goal for the Panthers. Port Hope incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. Nick Kazmierczak took the loss and made 21 saves before being replaced by Matt Loveys who made zero saves. The Pirates incurred 18 minutes in penalty time with four minors.
