New Jersey Rockets (mm) beats Phoenix Jr. Coyotes (mm) 4-3 after comeback scare

Phoenix Jr. Coyotes (mm) tried to dig itself out of a two-goal hole, but New Jersey Rockets (mm) held on for a 4-3 victory.

New Jersey Rockets (mm) took a 4-2 lead during the third period, only to have Phoenix Jr. Coyotes (mm) storm back on a Mason Vukonich goal 15:53 into the third period to pull to one goal down.

Michael Sacchi was all over the ice for New Jersey Rockets (mm), as he tallied two goals and one assist in the win. Sacchi scored the first of his two goals at 2:44 into the third period to make the score 2-2. Bradley Viola assisted on the tally. Sacchi's next tally made the score 4-2 New Jersey Rockets (mm) with 12:36 left in the third period. Christopher Petrone picked up the assist.

New Jersey Rockets (mm) could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 14 minutes in penalties during the game. New Jersey Rockets (mm)'s defensemen played an important role in the offense, chipping in three goals.

Others who scored for New Jersey Rockets (mm) included Marc Del Gaizo and Timothy Clifton, who scored one goal each. In addition, New Jersey Rockets (mm) received assists from Ty Schafer, Kyle MacLean, and Anthony DeMeo, who each chipped in one.

Phoenix Jr. Coyotes (mm) also got a goal from Brett Dillon as well. Other players who recorded assists for Phoenix Jr. Coyotes (mm) were Mark Kastelic, who had two and Jeremy Gabriele, Jonathan Dube, Tristan Moss, and Jake Lamberty, who contributed one each.
