Rob Pannell had five goals and two assists to lead the New York Lizards to a 18-15 victory over the Denver Outlaws. Pannell got on the scoresheet 0:45 into the 1st quarter. Then added goal at 8:14 into the 2nd, at 1:50 into the 3rd, at 9:45 into the 3rd and at 11:51 into the 4th. With 55 shots on target during the contest, New York exceeded the 40.3 shots it averages per game this year. The Lizards found the back of the net more times than it usually has this season. New York has scored at the pace of 15.3 goals per game during the current campaign. New York additionally got points from Mike Stone, who also registered one goal and one assist, Greg Gurenlian, who also registered one goal and one assist and Paul Rabil, who also registered two goals and two assists. The Outlaws were helped by John Grant, who tallied one goal and four assists. Grant scored on the power play 7:45 into the third period to make the score 12-6 New York. Denver had gained a power play chance when Brian Spallina was whistled for slashing. Drew Snider assisted on the tally. Denver also got points from Jeremy Sieverts, who also registered three goals and one assist and Snider, who also registered four goals and one assist.
