Manny's hat trick boosts Boston over Denver, 22-9

Will Manny lifted the Boston Cannons to a 22-9 victory with a hat trick against the Denver Outlaws. Manny's first goal came 7:01 into the 1st quarter. Then added goal at 3:11 into the 2nd and at 4:19 into the 3rd.

Boston forced Denver's goaltenders to work in net, finishing with 43 shots and forcing eight saves. Johnny Rodriguez made one stops and Jesse Schwartzman made seven. The Cannons' goal total was higher than their season average. This season, Boston averages 13.5 goals per contest.

Boston additionally got points from Scott Ratliff, who also registered one goal and two assists, Brent Adams, who also registered two goals and one assist, Wells Stanwick, who also registered two goals and one assist and Josh Hawkins, who also registered one goal and one assist. Others who scored for Boston included David Emala, who had six and Ryan Tucker, who had three. Other players who recorded assists for Boston were Rob Emery, John Glesener and Kevin Buchanan, who contributed one apiece.

The Outlaws did not reach the goal total they have come to expect this season. Denver averages 13.5 goals per game.

The Outlaws were led by Drew Snider, who racked up four goals. Denver also got points from John Grant, who also registered two goals and one assist. Denver also had goals scored by Snider, who had four and Justin Pennington, Eric Law and Jeremy Sieverts, who each put in one. In addition, Denver received assists from Michael Bocklet and Jeremy Noble, who each chipped in one.

Jordan Burke took the win and made 15 saves before being replaced by Adam Ghitelman who made one save. Denver won 19 faceoffs to 11 for Boston. Anthony Kelly won 19 for Denver.
