The Rochester Rattlers rallied from five goals down to secure a 16-15 win over the Ohio Machine. Rochester never led in the game until netting the game winner. The Rattlers trailed 8-3 after a goal by Ohio's Marcus Holman at 14:37 in the 2nd quarter. Rochester knotted things up at 12-12 on a goal by Jordan Wolf at 1:46 in the 4th quarter. The Rattlers netted the game winner at 2:44 in the 4th quarter on a goal by Wolf. Mark Matthews had four goals and one assist to lead Rochester. The 48 shots that the Rattlers put on net surpassed the Rattlers' average of 34.2 shots per game this season. Rochester surpassed its usual scoring output this season. This season, the Rattlers average 13 goals per contest. Rochester additionally got points from Kevin Rice, who also registered two goals and two assists, Jordan MacIntosh, who also registered one goal and one assist and Randy Staats, who also registered one goal and two assists. Others who scored for Rochester included Dave Lawson, who had three, Jack Near, who had two and John LoCascio and Michael Lazore, who each put in one.
