McArdle leads Florida over New York, 16-12

The Florida Launch's Kieran McArdle had a big offensive game, scoring four goals and contributing one assist in his team's 16-12 win over the New York Lizards.

McArdle notched his first tally 6:23 into the 2nd quarter. Then added goal at 12:43 into the 2nd, at 10:56 into the 3rd and at 1:59 into the 4th.

Florida bested its season scoring average. This season, the Launch average 12.3 goals per contest.

Florida also got points from Casey Powell, who also registered two goals and three assists to lead the team in points. Others who scored for Florida included Steven Brooks, who had three, Connor Buczek, who had two and Nick Galasso, Cameron Lao-Gosney and Jovan Miller, who scored one goal each.

New York's offense operated below it season average. The Lizards average 15 goals per game.

New York was helped by Ryan Walsh, who finished with three goals. New York additionally got points from Rob Pannell, who also registered two goals and two assists and Ned Crotty, who also registered one goal and one assist. New York also had goals scored by Jo-Jo Marasco, who had four, Walsh, who had three and Mike Stone and Michael Skudin, who each put in one. In addition, New York received assists from Greg Gurenlian and Tommy Palasek, who each chipped in one.

Brett Queener took the win and made 18 saves before being replaced by Austin Kaut who made four saves. The Lizards' starting goalie, Drew Adams, made 17 saves and finished with the loss before he was taken out in favor of Charlie Cipriano, who stopped zero shots. New York won 20 faceoffs to 10 for the Launch. Gurenlian won 20 for New York.
