Rochester takes care of Boston early, wins 13-6

The Rochester Rattlers jumped out to a four-point advantage by the end of the first quarter and beat the Boston Cannons, 13-6.

Jordan Wolf was all over the field for Rochester, as he tallied five goals and two assists in the win. He scored the first of his goals at 11:02 into the first period to make the score 3-0. he also scored at 5:34 into the second period to make the score 5-1, at 11:34 into the second period to make the score 6-2, at 14:20 into the second period to make the score 7-2 and at 7:58 into overtime to make the score 12-5.

By firing 45 shots on goal, the Rattlers exceeded the 36 shots they average per game this year.

Rochester also got points from Kevin Rice, who also registered two goals and two assists. Rochester also got a goal from Dave Lawson as well. In addition, Rochester received assists from Joel White, Justin Turri and Jordan MacIntosh, who contributed one apiece.

Boston kept Rochester's goalie busy throughout the game, and John Galloway made 15 saves on 21 shots. The Cannons did not reach the goal total they have come to expect this season. Boston puts an average of 12.4 shots into the net per game.

The Cannons were helped by Brent Adams, who registered two goals. Adams scored the first of his two goals at 6:44 into overtime to make the score 11-5 Rochester. Adams' next tally made the score 12-6 Rochester with 9:05 left in overtime. Others who scored for Boston included Will Manny and Adams, who scored two goals each and Rob Emery and Max Seibald, who each put in one.

Jordan Burke made 14 saves for Boston on 27 shots. The Cannons won 12 faceoffs to 11 for the Rattlers. Craig Bunker won 12 for the Cannons.
