Boston beats Denver 16-13 as Seibald gets hat trick

Max Seibald netted a hat trick to lead the Boston Cannons over the Denver Outlaws, 16-13. Seibald notched his first tally 9:10 into the 2nd quarter. Then added goal at 10:04 into the 4th and at 12:12 into the 4th.

Boston outdid its season average for goals scored. This season, the Cannons average 12 goals per contest. Boston kept Denver's goalie busy throughout the game, and Jesse Schwartzman made 13 saves on 27 shots.

Boston also got points from David Emala, who also registered two goals and one assist and Brent Adams, who also registered two goals and one assist. Others who scored for Boston included Will Manny, Rob Emery and Martin Bowes, who each put in two and Josh Amidon, who had one. More assists for Boston came via Scott Ratliff and Ryan Young, who contributed one apiece.

With 44 shots on target during the contest, the Outlaws exceeded the 39 shots they average per game this year.

Denver was led by Drew Snider, who registered three goals and two assists. Denver additionally got points from Patrick Harbeson, who also registered one goal and one assist, Justin Pennington, who also registered three goals and one assist and Eric Law, who also registered one goal and one assist. Denver also had goals scored by Chris Bocklet, who had three and Greg Melaugh and Michael Bocklet, who scored one goal each. In addition, Denver received assists from Jeremy Sieverts, who had two and Matt Bocklet, who had one.

Jordan Burke made 12 saves for the Cannons on 25 shots. The Outlaws won 17 faceoffs to 14 for Boston. Anthony Kelly won 17 for the Outlaws.
