Charlotte falls to Rochester in overtime, 10-9 (OT)

Jordan Wolf's goal in extra time proved to be the game winner, as the Rochester Rattlers defeated the Charlotte Hounds, 10-9 (OT).

Wolf had four goals to lead Rochester to victory.

The teams traded the lead six times. Charlotte took its last lead at 13:17 in the 4th on a goal by Mike Sawyer to make the score 9-8 Charlotte. The Rattlers took over the lead for good with a goal by Wolf 2:02 into the 5th to make the score 10-9.

Rochester kept the Hounds' goalie busy throughout the game, and Pierce Bassett made 17 saves on 27 shots.

Rochester also got points from Dave Lawson, who also registered two goals and two assists. Rochester also had goals scored by Jeremy Boltus, who had three and John Ranagan, who had one. In addition, Rochester received assists from Ty Thompson, who had one.

Charlotte kept the Rattlers' goalie busy throughout the game, and John Galloway made 15 saves on 24 shots.

Charlotte additionally got points from Josh Dionne, who also registered one goal and one assist. Others who scored for Charlotte included Terry Kimener, who had two and Jake Tripucka, John Haus and Michael Ehrhardt, who each put in one. Other players who recorded assists for Charlotte were Alex Zomerfeld and Thomas DeNapoli, who contributed one apiece.

The Hounds won 16 faceoffs to seven for Rochester. Brendan Fowler won 16 for the Hounds.
