Early goals doom Thunder Bay Kings, falls to Oakville Rangers, 8-0

A four-goal first period deficit cost Thunder Bay Kings, which could not recover and fell to Oakville Rangers, 8-0.

Oakville Rangers got the win behind a great game by Jake Murray, who had two goals and one assist. Murray scored the first of his two goals on the power play at 4:44 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Oakville Rangers. Oakville Rangers had gained a power play chance when Matthew Halushak was whistled for holding. Tanner Kelly assisted on the tally. Murray's next tally on the power play made the score 5-0 Oakville Rangers with 18:41 left in the second period. Zack Terry provided the assist.
