The Schomberg Cougars could not stop the Huntsville Otters' Jake McIntyre, who tallied a hat trick in a 5-1 win. McIntyre's first goal came 16:50 into the first period. He then added goals at 1:04 into the third and at 19:29 into the third.With the win, Huntsville evened the series at 1-1 in the best of seven showdown. The Otters stifled Schomberg's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Huntsville also had goals scored by Myles Bissonette, Sam King, and Tyler Brown, who each put in one. In addition, Huntsville received assists from Jamie Halnan, who had two and Jay Dix, Evan Wilding, Jared Stevens APM, Nathan Zantingh, Walker Davison, and Myles York, who contributed one each. The Cougars were led by Brandon Savoy, who scored the team's only goal. Savoy scored 10:06 into the first period to make the score 1-1. Nicholas Chaykowsky provided the assist. Connor Christanson rejected 23 shots on goal for Huntsville. The Otters incurred 22 minutes in penalty time with six minors. Taylor Ewart recorded 22 saves for Schomberg. The Cougars incurred 22 minutes in penalty time with six minors.
