Behind a great game by Nick Arcan, who had two goals and two assists, the Alliston Hornets defeated the Fergus Devils, 9-3. Arcan's tallies came on the power play at 4:39 into the second period to make the score 3-2 Alliston and 11:33 into the second to make the score 4-2 Alliston.After the loss made the series score 3-0 in the best of seven series, Fergus faces elimination next time out. The Devils were unable to stop Alliston from sending pucks towards the net, and the Hornets eventually piled up 43 shots on goal. Alliston additionally got points from Jamie Bennett, who also registered one goal and three assists and Matt Hamilton, who also tallied two goals and one assist. Alliston also had goals scored by Connor Annett, Adam Arsenault, Andrew Ceolin, and Nic Archibald, who each put in one. More assists for Alliston came via Steve Griggs, who had one, Ryan Lewis, who had three, and Payton Dunlop and Jacob Tuck, who each chipped in two. Fergus was helped by Sam Natale, who had one goal. Others who scored for Fergus included Robert Ebach and Brock Philips, who scored one goal each. In addition, Fergus received assists from Joshua Schafer and Ben Roelofson, who contributed one each. TJ Sherwood rejected 18 shots on goal for Alliston. The Hornets incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors. Alex Elliott recorded 34 saves for the Devils. Fergus incurred 24 minutes in penalty time with seven minors.
