Ryan Tuffin had two goals to lead the Dorchester Dolphins to a 6-3 victory over the Lucan Irish.

Tuffin scored at 6:08 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Dorchester and again while 9:01 into the second to make the score 3-2 Dorchester.

The win by Dorchester clinched the best of seven series at 4-1.

The Dolphins kept Lucan's goalie busy throughout the game, and Andrew Ganter made 57 saves on 63 shots.

Dorchester additionally got points from Michael Blue, who also registered one goal and one assist and Bryan McCauley, who also tallied one goal and one assist. Dorchester also had goals scored by Chad Brulotte and Brendon O Shaughnessy, who each put in one. More assists for Dorchester came via Wade Russell and Liam Gillooly, who each chipped in one and Chris Carreiro and Collin Hartwick, who contributed two each.

The Irish forced Dorchester goalie Kent Taylor to work between the pipes, taking 41 shots.

Lucan was helped by Andrew Reichert, who had one goal. Reichert scored on the power play 5:43 into the second period to make the score 1-1. The Irish had taken the advantage when the Dolphins' Tyler Kerr got sent off for high sticking. Zach Beaumont assisted on the tally. Lucan also got points from Beaumont, who also racked up one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Lucan also got a goal from Dylan Murray as well. In addition, Lucan received assists from Daniel Cloutier, Ryan Martin, and Garrett Hodgson, who each chipped in one.

Dorchester's Taylor stopped 38 shots out of the 41 that he faced. The Dolphins incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. Lucan incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors.
