The Alvinston Flyers survived a determined comeback attempt by the Blenheim Blades on the way to a 3-2 win. A goal by Zach VanEyk put Alvinston up 3-0 in the second period, but Blenheim pulled to within one on Bryan Boersma's tally 19:57 into the third period. With the win, the Flyers evened the series at 2-2 in the best of seven showdown. Alvinston was helped by Chad Rainsberry, who registered one goal. Rainsberry scored 15:49 into the first period to make the score 2-0 Alvinston. Josh Moore assisted on the tally. Eric Marsh also scored for Alvinston. In addition, Alvinston received assists from Clint Rose, Brady Swan, Jordan Hayes, and Kirklin Dorman, who contributed one each. The Flyers were unable to stop the Blades from sending pucks towards the net, and Blenheim eventually piled up 33 shots on goal. The Blades were helped by Nolan VandenBoorn, who tallied one goal. VandenBoorn scored 6:05 into the third period to make the score 3-1 Alvinston. Corbin Hagerman picked up the assist. More assists for Blenheim came via Matt Clark and Kirk McKillop, who each chipped in one. Brett Avery made 31 saves for Alvinston on 33 shots. The Flyers incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Blenheim's starting goalie, Klinton Kenney, made 19 saves and finished with the loss before he was taken out in favor of Eric Stewardson, who stopped eight shots. The Blades incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
