Trenton rolls over Georgetown, 4-1

The Trenton Golden Hawks had a two-goal lead after two periods and cruised the rest of the way en route to a 4-1 win over the Georgetown Raiders.

Trenton was led by goalie Justin Kapelmaster, who finished with 26 saves while allowing one goal. Kapelmaster certainly lowered his goals against average, which was 2.09 entering the contest.

The Golden Hawks were sparked by Hunter Fargey, who registered one goal. Fargey scored 15:15 into the first period to make the score 2-0 Trenton. Michael Siddall provided the assist.

Trenton additionally got points from Brady Wiffen, who also racked up one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Trenton also had goals scored by Blayne Oliver and Danny Liscio, who scored one goal each. In addition, Trenton received assists from Chrisitian Lloyd, who had two and Kevin Lavoie, Tyler Donaldson, Loren Ulett, and Braden Hellems, who contributed one each.

Georgetown was held below its usual level of production. The Raiders put an average of 3.8 pucks into the net per game.

Georgetown was led by Anthony Marra, who scored the team's only goal. Marra scored 6:16 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Trenton. Steve Hladin picked up the assist.

Trenton incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. Marc Williams recorded 23 saves for the Raiders. Georgetown incurred 18 minutes in penalty time with four minors.
