The St. Michaels College Majors and the Ridley College Tigers skate to 2-2 tie

Ridley College trailed St. Michaels College by two in the second period, but the Tigers did not give up and the game ended in a 2-2 tie.

The Majors managed to stay out of the box better than usual, finishing with one minor for two minutes in penalty time. St. Michaels College ended up below its season average of 14.0 penalty minutes per game. The Majors kept Ridley College's goalie busy throughout the game, and Cam Gray made 32 saves on 34 shots. The defensemen of St. Michaels College were also effective in the Tigers' zone, and came away with two goals.

The Majors were helped by Jack Clarke, who racked up one goal. Clarke scored 7:39 into the first period to make the score 1-0 St. Michaels College. Owen Ramsay assisted on the tally. St. Michaels College also got a goal from Mark Paolini as well. More assists for St. Michaels College came via Marco Violo and Andrew Petrucci, who contributed one each.

Ridley College's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on three St. Michaels College power plays.

The Tigers were helped by Connor Hill, who had one goal. Hill scored 11:21 into the second period to make the score 2-1 St. Michaels College. Brendan Lochead picked up the assist. Ridley College also got points from Christian Girhiny, who also grabbed one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. In addition, Ridley College received assists from Cole Cameron and Charles Levesque, who each chipped in one.

Spiros Koskinas recorded 23 saves for St. Michaels College. Ridley College incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors and had no power play opportunities.
