Jordan Delaurier lifted the Kitchener Dutchmen to a 6-2 victory with a hat trick against the Brampton Bombers. Delaurier's first goal came 8:33 into the second period. He then added goals at 7:06 into the third and at 19:47 into the third.Kitchener's penalty kill excelled, as the Dutchmen gave up zero goals despite allowing seven power plays. Kitchener stifled Brampton's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. The Dutchmen forced the Bombers goalie Jake Lawr to work between the pipes, taking 45 shots. Kitchener could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 24 minutes in penalties during the game. Kitchener also got points from Mitchell Smith, who also racked up one goal and three assists and Keegan Calder, who also grabbed one goal and one assist. Nathan Grossi also scored for Kitchener. More assists for Kitchener came via Harrison Domagala and Kyle Ellis, who contributed one each and Ben St Marseille and Adam Kawalec, who each chipped in two. Brampton kept the Dutchmen's goalie busy throughout the game, and Jackson McIntosh made 33 saves on 35 shots. The Bombers could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 26 minutes in penalties during the game. Kitchener registered three goals on seven power play opportunities. Jake Lawr made 39 saves for Brampton on 45 shots.
