Omaha AAA 14U takes care of West Coast Renegades 14U early, wins 14-0

West Coast Renegades 14U fell behind early, and Omaha AAA 14U kept piling on the points on the way to a 14-0 victory.

Clark Kerner was all over the ice for Omaha AAA 14U, as he tallied two goals and one assist in the win. Kerner scored the first of his two goals at 4:35 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Omaha AAA 14U. Jacob Felker picked up the assist. Kerner's next tally made the score 4-0 Omaha AAA 14U with 11:09 left in the first period.

Omaha AAA 14U put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow West Coast Renegades 14U to score on any of its four power plays. Omaha AAA 14U outdid its season average for goals scored. This season, Omaha AAA 14U averages 9.3 goals per contest. Omaha AAA 14U's defensemen played an important role in the offense, chipping in four goals.

Omaha AAA 14U also got points from Jack Craycroft, who also tallied one goal and one assist, Seth Bergeron, who also racked up one goal and one assist, Noah Watkins, who also registered two goals and one assist, Brennan Couet, who also had one goal and one assist, Coltan Wilkie, who also racked up one goal and one assist, and Felker, who also registered two goals and two assists to lead the team in points. Others who scored for Omaha AAA 14U included Zane Schmidt, who had two and Nick Novak and Blake Hutton, who each put in one. In addition, Omaha AAA 14U received assists from Logan Will, who had one, Matthew Allen, who had four, and Payton Siemer and Ethan Rodriguez, who contributed two each.

Omaha AAA 14U's defense shut down West Coast Renegades 14U's forwards for much of the game, and West Coast Renegades 14U got off only nine shots during the contest. Penalties took their toll on West Coast Renegades 14U, as its penalty kill unit let in three power play goals.

Alex Henson recorded nine saves for Omaha AAA 14U. Omaha AAA 14U incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. Titan Anderson made 15 saves for West Coast Renegades 14U on 29 shots. West Coast Renegades 14U incurred 18 minutes in penalty time with four minors.
