Pikes Peak Miners 18U pulls away in second, rolls over Minnesota Revolution 18U, 9-1

Minnesota Revolution 18U was within striking distance after one period, but Pikes Peak Miners 18U put the pedal down in the second en route to a 9-1 victory.

Pikes Peak Miners 18U got the win with help from a great game by David Dziezawiec, who had two goals and two assists. Dziezawiec scored the first of his two goals at 2:23 into the second period to make the score 2-0 Pikes Peak Miners 18U. JP Nolette provided the assist. Dziezawiec's next tally made the score 9-0 Pikes Peak Miners 18U with 4:13 left in the third period. Pikes Peak Miners 18U had gotten the advantage when Minnesota Revolution 18U's Tyler Thompson was sent off for fighting.
