Perth Pelicans survives Sydney Wolf Pack comeback, wins 2-1

Sydney Wolf Pack tried to dig itself out of a two-goal hole, but Perth Pelicans held on for a 2-1 victory.

A goal by Rhys Dumpleton put Perth Pelicans up 2-0 in the third period, but Sydney Wolf Pack pulled to within one on Nick Air's tally 14:27 into the third period.

Perth Pelicans was led by Dumpleton, who finished with one goal. Dumpleton scored 10 seconds into the third period to make the score 2-0 Perth Pelicans. Alastair Lambers assisted on the tally.

Perth Pelicans' penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on four Sydney Wolf Pack power plays. Perth Pelicans' offense was clicking better than usual and put 22 shots on goal during the game, better than the 2.9 shots per game it averages.

Perth Pelicans also got a goal from Kieren Webster as well. More assists for Perth Pelicans came via Craig Houston, who had two.
