Woodman leads Perth Sharks over Perth Pelicans, 4-1

Behind a great game by James Woodman, who had one goal and two assists, Perth Sharks defeated Perth Pelicans, 4-1.

Woodman scored 8:15 into the second period to make the score 2-0 Perth Sharks. Woodman dished an assist on Tomek Sak's goal that made the score 3-1 Perth Sharks at 1:37 into the third period. He added another helper on Sak's goal that made the score 4-1 Perth Sharks at 5:04 into the third period.

With 28 shots on target during the contest, Perth Sharks exceeded the 3.7 shots it averages per game this year.

Other players who recorded assists for Perth Sharks were Bruno Stolze, who had two.

Perth Pelicans put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Perth Sharks to score on any of its four power plays.
