Victory Honda (MM) blows out Buffalo Jr. Sabres (MM), 7-3

Victory Honda (MM) had a three-goal lead after two periods and cruised the rest of the way en route to a 7-3 win over Buffalo Jr. Sabres (MM).

Victory Honda (MM) pulled out the victory even though it was hit with 18 penalty minutes.

Victory Honda (MM) was paced by Garrett Jenkins, who finished with one goal. Jenkins scored on the power play 8:18 into the second period to make the score 4-2 Victory Honda (MM). Victory Honda (MM) had gotten the advantage when Buffalo Jr. Sabres (MM)'s Matthew Mazza was sent off for interference. Jon Russell picked up the assist.

Victory Honda (MM) forced Buffalo Jr. Sabres (MM)'s goalies to work without much rest, getting 38 shots and forcing 31 saves. NICHOLAS VILARDO made 11 stops and BRIAN KOWALSKI made 20. Victory Honda (MM) outdid its season average for goals scored. Victory Honda (MM) averages 4.4 goals per game. Team's forwards weren't the only contributers offensively, and the team's defensemen showcased their scoring touch with three goals.

Buffalo Jr. Sabres (MM) also got a goal from JOSEPH SCHULER as well. More assists for Buffalo Jr. Sabres (MM) came via Michael Bevilacqua and Brendan Miller, who contributed one each.

Gavin Hubbard recorded 19 saves for Victory Honda (MM). Victory Honda (MM) registered two goals on four power play opportunities. Buffalo Jr. Sabres (MM) incurred 18 minutes in penalty time with four minors.
