St. Andrews College blows out Rothesay Netherwood School, 7-0

The St. Andrews College Saints were firing on all cylinders against Rothesay Netherwood School, and when the final buzzer sounded Saints emerged with a 7-0 win.

St. Andrews College was paced by Alex MacDonald, who tallied one goal. MacDonald scored 10:15 into the first period to make the score 1-0 St. Andrews College. Otto Saarimaa picked up the assist.

The Saints' penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on three Rothesay Netherwood School power plays. Rothesay Netherwood School was unable to stop St. Andrews College from sending pucks towards the net, and the Saints eventually piled up 67 shots on goal. St. Andrews College surpassed its usual scoring output this season. The Saints have scored at the pace of 4.5 goals per game during the current campaign.

St. Andrews College additionally got points from JD Falconer, who also racked up one goal and one assist and Justin Fregona, who also finished with one goal and one assist. St. Andrews College also had goals scored by Mac Lewis, who had two and Mack Falconer and Jacob Miller, who each put in one. In addition, St. Andrews College received assists from Matthew Thom, Darren Iwai, and Reid Yochim, who contributed one each and Adam Sinclair and Mitchell Martan, who each chipped in two.

Rothesay Netherwood School stifled St. Andrews College's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man.

Cole Chapman recorded 20 saves for the Saints. St. Andrews College incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. Jeremy Wasson rejected 60 shots on goal for Rothesay Netherwood School. Rothesay Netherwood School incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors.
