St. Andrews College beats Northwood School 3-1 after comeback scareLaBrier Family Arena Fri, Jan 30, 2015 The St. Andrews College Saints survived a determined comeback attempt by Northwood School on the way to a 3-1 win. St. Andrews College took a 3-0 lead during the third period, only to have Northwood School storm back on a Malcolm Arseneau goal 12:11 into the third period to pull to two goals down. The Saints were sparked by Alex MacDonald, who finished with one goal and one assist. MacDonald scored 17:26 into the second period to make the score 2-0 St. Andrews College. Justin Fregona picked up the assist. St. Andrews College stifled Northwood School's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. The Saints forced Northwood School goalie Mish Abudi to work between the pipes, taking 35 shots. St. Andrews College additionally got points from Fregona, who also grabbed one goal and one assist. St. Andrews College also got a goal from Jacob Miller as well. In addition, St. Andrews College received assists from Quentin Campbell and Adam Sinclair, who each chipped in one. Northwood School put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow St. Andrews College to score on any of its three power plays. Other players who recorded assists for Northwood School were Mattias Samuelsson, who had one. Matthew Galajda recorded 20 saves for the Saints. St. Andrews College incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. Mish Abudi made 32 saves for Northwood School on 34 shots. Northwood School incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors.
