California University of Pennsylvan holds on for 4-3 win against West Chester University

West Chester University tried to dig itself out of a two-goal hole, but California University of Pennsylvan held on for a 4-3 victory.

A goal by Lauren Lehman put California University of Pennsylvan up 4-2 in the third period, but West Chester University pulled to within one on Kirsten Baron's tally 19:38 into the third period.

Lehman had a great game for California University of Pennsylvan, netting two goals.

California University of Pennsylvan's penalty killing units received substantial work throughout the game as California University of Pennsylvan finished with 14 penalty minutes.

California University of Pennsylvan additionally got points from Megan Cooper, who also grabbed one goal and one assist and Dana Bowersox, who also finished with one goal and two assists to lead the team in points. Other players who recorded assists for California University of Pennsylvan were Christine Swain, Alyssia Ong, Emily Ritchie, Hayley Dhondt, and Michelle Daley, who each chipped in one.

California University of Pennsylvan was unable to stop West Chester University from sending pucks towards the net, and West Chester University eventually piled up 42 shots on goal.
