Lockport Express beat Syracuse Stampede, 7-4.

Lockport Express excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in five chances. Syracuse Stampede was unable to stop Lockport Express from sending pucks towards the net, and Lockport Express eventually piled up 56 shots on goal. Lockport Express surpassed its usual scoring output this season. Lockport Express averages 4.8 goals per game.

Lockport Express was helped by Christopher Gasiewicz, who tallied one goal. Gasiewicz scored 4:45 into the second period to make the score 3-1 Lockport Express. Ryan Logar assisted on the tally. Lockport Express additionally got points from Dillon Hayes, who also registered two goals and one assist, Justin Durkee, who also finished with one goal and two assists to lead the team in points, Frank II Vecchio, who also grabbed one goal and one assist, and Logar, who also racked up one goal and one assist. Daniel Golba also scored for Lockport Express. Other players who recorded assists for Lockport Express were Alex Bottenfield, Anthony Merante, Peter Guido, Michael Crissy, and Nicholas Siracuse, who contributed one each and Christian Whitcomb and Justin Blake, who each chipped in two.

Syracuse Stampede was helped by Erik Smith, who tallied two goals. Smith scored the first of his two goals at 11:43 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Syracuse Stampede. Braeden Pearl picked up the assist. Smith's next tally made the score 7-4 Lockport Express with 8:32 left in the third period. Pearl assisted on the tally. Syracuse Stampede also got points from Pearl, who also registered one goal and two assists to lead the team in points. Syracuse Stampede also got a goal from Raymond Falso as well. In addition, Syracuse Stampede received assists from Valters Midegs, Joey Dupuis, and Xavier Perron, who contributed one each.

Tyler Shotwell made 23 saves for Lockport Express on 27 shots. Lockport Express incurred 14 minutes in penalty time with seven minors. Hunter Andersen recorded 49 saves for Syracuse Stampede. Syracuse Stampede incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors.
