Austin nets hat trick, leads Roc City to 7-4 win over Wilkes-BarreCoal Street Sat, Jan 24, 2015 Story by Narrative Science.
Wilkes-Barre could not stop Roc City's Wesley Austin, who tallied a hat trick in a 7-4 win. Austin's first goal came 5:27 into the second period. He then added goals at 18:44 into the second and at 7:35 into the third.Wilkes-Barre was unable to stop Roc City from sending pucks towards the net, and Roc City eventually piled up 38 shots on goal. Roc City surpassed its usual scoring output this season. Roc City has scored at the pace of 3.5 goals per game during the current campaign. Leisser scored the first of his two goals on the power play at 12:47 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Wilkes-Barre. Wilkes-Barre had gotten the advantage when Roc City's Collin Fabian was sent off for holding. Nolan Bivolcic picked up the assist. Leisser's next tally on the power play made the score 6-4 Roc City with 1:28 left in the third period. Wilkes-Barre had taken the advantage when Roc City's Guay got sent off for slashing. Francis Lacroix provided the assist. Wilkes-Barre also got a goal from Zoltan Eross as well. Roc City's Ian Stahl stopped 23 shots out of the 27 that he faced. Roc City incurred 16 minutes in penalty time with eight minors. Bivolcic recorded 31 saves for Wilkes-Barre. Wilkes-Barre incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
