New Hampshire downs Maine, 5-2

Ryan Dunfield had two points to lead New Hampshire to a 5-2 victory over Maine.

New Hampshire's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on four Maine power plays. New Hampshire kept Maine's goalie busy throughout the game, and Lucas Osborne made 37 saves on 42 shots.

New Hampshire additionally got points from Brett Bittner, who also tallied one goal and one assist. New Hampshire also got a goal from Mike Callaghan as well. In addition, New Hampshire received assists from Alex Peddle, who had two.

New Hampshire was unable to stop Maine from sending pucks towards the net, and Maine eventually piled up 34 shots on goal.

Maine was helped by Taylor Zion, who registered one goal. Zion scored 3:21 into the third period to make the score 4-2 New Hampshire. Matt Henderson picked up the assist. Ben Henderson also scored for Maine. More assists for Maine came via Alex Benson, who had one.

Claes Endre recorded 32 saves for New Hampshire. New Hampshire incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Maine incurred 16 minutes in penalty time with eight minors.
