Three periods of regulation and an overtime session were not enough to settle matters as NOJHL defeated CCHL Robinson in a shootout.

NOJHL was efficient when it shot the puck, scoring its goals on only four shots.

NOJHL excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in four chances.

NOJHL was helped by Anthony MILLER, who registered one goal. MILLER scored 17:20 into the first period to make the score 2-1 NOJHL. Ethan STRONG provided the assist. Jaren BALLINI also scored for NOJHL. More assists for NOJHL came via Khadyn BUTTERFLY, who had one.

NOJHL's defense shut down CCHL Robinson's forwards for much of the game, and CCHL Robinson got off only two shots during the contest.

CCHL Robinson was helped by Jason Tackett, who had one goal. Tackett scored 6:31 into the first period to make the score 1-0 CCHL Robinson. Sean King assisted on the tally. CCHL Robinson also got a goal from Jordan Larson as well. In addition, CCHL Robinson received assists from Liam Folkes and Andy Sturtz, who contributed one each.

NOJHL incurred 14 minutes in penalty time with two minors. CCHL Robinson incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors.
