Thomas Lattavo had one goal and two assists to lead OJHL Oates to a 5-2 victory over OJHL Coffey.

Lattavo scored 19:01 into the first period to make the score 1-1. Chrisitian Lloyd provided the assist. Lattavo dished an assist on Noah Delmas's goal that made the score 2-2 at 9:10 into the second period. He added another helper on Ryan Garvey's goal that made the score 4-3 OJHL Oates at 16:29 into the second period.

OJHL Coffey's Andy Munroe could not handle what OJHL Oates threw at him, as OJHL Oates netted its goals off of five.

Team's forwards weren't the only contributers offensively, and the team's defensemen showcased their scoring touch with two goals.

OJHL Oates also got points from Garvey, who also finished with one goal and one assist and Lloyd, who also had one goal and one assist. OJHL Oates also got a goal from Joseph Berton as well. In addition, OJHL Oates received assists from Quinn Syrydiuk and Will Reilly, who each chipped in one.

OJHL Coffey managed to stay out of the box better than usual, finishing with one minor for two minutes in penalty time. OJHL Coffey wound up below its season average of 3.0 penalty minutes per game. OJHL Coffey's offense was handcuffed by OJHL Oates' defensive play, and OJHL Coffey managed only three shots on goal during the game.
