Northern Michigan University blows out Lake Superior State University, 7-2

Northern Michigan University had a five-goal lead after two periods and cruised the rest of the way en route to a 7-2 win over Lake Superior State University.

Macy Schultz had two goals to lead Northern Michigan University to victory. Schultz's tallies came at 6:40 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Northern Michigan University and 14:24 into the first to make the score 2-0 Northern Michigan University.
