Perth Sharks blows out Perth Pelicans, 6-2

Perth Sharks had a two-goal lead after two periods and cruised the rest of the way en route to a 6-2 win over Perth Pelicans.

James Woodman had one goal and two assists to lead Perth Sharks. Woodman scored on the power play 7:09 into the first period to make the score 1-1. Perth Sharks had gotten the advantage when Perth Pelicans' Rhys Dumpleton was sent off for tripping. Tomek Sak picked up the assist.

By firing 27 shots on goal, Perth Sharks exceeded the 4.5 shots it averages per game this year. Perth Sharks got an offensive boost from its blueliners, who contributed two goals during the game.

Perth Sharks additionally got points from Sak, who also grabbed one goal and three assists to lead the team in points and Bruno Stolze, who also registered one goal and one assist. Perth Sharks also had goals scored by Ivan Ageev, Benedik Stolze, and Sean McLean, who scored one goal each.
